Colouring Book
Hi. I'm Charles the Bear Cub. You know me. I live on Sparkle Road with my buddy, Special Ed James. He rides to school on a short bus, so I have to look after him. Oh. Wait! Chance lives with us, too. He's a newborn cubby someone left in a basket on our doorstep. He's a wee little thing.
Know what? Chance and me got a colouring book at the Sandwich Community Health Centre. The doctors and nurses are nice. Everyone is nice even if we got got Austrian measles. We had to get shots. Shots hurt. Chance cried and made squawky noises. I only cried a little bit. I l-o-v-e to colour. I have crayons. I know how to colour inside of the lines. Chance is too little to know how to colour. Know what? He tries to eat the crayons. We can't eat crayons. They're not in the Canada Food Guide. I say, "My son! Take that out of your mouth!" I have to watch him all the time. Chance is a handful, you know.
This is Charles the Bear Cub saying, "Be good citizens! If you are good citizens you might get a colouring book of your own from the Sandwich Community Health Centre.
