Hi. I'm Charles the Bear Cub. You know me. I live on Sparkle Road with my buddy, Special Ed James. He rides to school on a short bus, so I have to look after him. Oh.Wait! Chance lives with us, too. He's a newborn cubby someone left in a basket on our doorstep. He's a wee little thing. I look after him, too. Know what? We're having breakfast at The Golden Griddle. They don't have porridge or gummy worms but they do have wallermelon. I l-o-v-e wallermelon. It's yummy and that's one of the four food groups in the Canada Food Guide. Chance is too little to eat wallermelon. He doesn't have any teeth yet. He'll grow some when he's older. He doesn't have a tail, yet either. I have a tail. I'll be six on Canada Day. We will eat wallermelon and watch fireworks that day. I'm gonna see if these nice people have wallermelon juice for Chance. I bet he would like that. Okay. I gotta go. This is me, Charles the Bear Cub saying, 'be good citizens. Over and out.'
